Sam Douglas

Hi, I’m Dr. Douglas! I am a Kansas City native, having attended Olathe East High School, then going on to get my undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Business from Kansas State University. I then went straight from K-State to the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery!

I got married last September, and my wife and I currently live in North Kansas City. Our faith, family, and friends are the most important things in our lives. We love babysitting our niece and 4 nephews, attending watch parties for the Chiefs and Royals, and hosting game nights with our friends!

Although I have wanted to be a dentist since 2008, my decision to pursue this as my career became official in 2018 after I spent a month in Guatemala on a dental mission trip. This trip showed me how passionate I am for patient care, getting people out of pain, and improving the quality of other people’s lives. These are three things that I think Dentists have the blessing to do on a daily basis, and are ways I am excited to begin serving the patients here at Fender Family Dentistry.
